Rents dropped 16.8% in Lisbon and returned to 2017 levels

Contracted housing rents in Lisbon registered a steep contraction once again, during the 4th quarter of 2020, with a 4.8% quarterly drop and a 16.8% yoy drop. In both cases, the last quarter of 2020 was the fourth consecutive quarter during which rents in the capital registered a recessive behaviour, a breakdown which took the rents back to mid 2017 levels.
