Number of dwellings under licensing grew 20% when compared to the pre-Covid period

During 2021’s first six months a total 11.765 new housing projects representing 27.600 dwellings were submitted for licensing in Portugal (Mainland). The number of dwellings surpassed in 20% the pre-Covid (2019) biannual numbers, when, on average, around 23.500 dwellings were launched per semester in the country.
